KSER (LSE) Newsletter – January 2012
Work has continued on merging KSER and Southern Region. A sub committee met on January 8th at the Little Oaks club to draw up a proposed constitution for the new region. They will be reporting to back to the next joint regional committee meeting, which will be held at the White Club on Saturday 11th February at 11.00hrs. All members of the region are welcome to attend, but please see the entry in the events diary section below.
As I mentioned in the previous newsletter, we are working towards Saturday 12th May, when it is planned to hold the final AGM’s for the existing two regional organisations. The main purpose being to wind them up in an orderly fashion. Those meetings will be followed by the first AGM for the new South East Region. More details will be available nearer the time, but please make a note of the date in your diary.
Young British Naturism – YBN
Daryl Jones has now taken up the national role of BN Youth Officer. If you are between 18 and 30 and would like to get involved with other naturists in that age group please contact Daryl on info@ybn.org.uk for more information.
A position for a youth officer exists in each region, currently neither we or Southern have anyone in the post. If you are between 18 and 30 years old please consider taking on this important and worthwhile role, full support will be given both by the regional committee and YBN. Contact Daryl for more information.
Are You a 20 or 30 Something ?
Simon Browne is, and he would very much like to meet up with other Naturists in that age group for social events. Dinners, movie nights, game nights, are just a few of things that Simon suggests could bring like minded people together. Please contact Simon on simon.jbrowne@gmail.com.
Winter Walks
A number of people who go on the SOC walks, have found that it is quite possible to walk naked, given suitable weather throughout the winter, and they try to go out for a walk once a month. If you are interested please contact me by replying to this email, in the first instance.
Alton Naturist Sports Evenings
These are held at the Alton Sports Centre. Both wet and dry sides are available to naturists along with the cafe.
The dates for 2012 are shown below under “Events”.
Tickets are £10 child £1) in advance or £12.50 on the door. The B.N card or other i.d will be required. Note that season tickets at £50 (£45 for Shabden members) for five nights.
There is a special offer applying on the February 4th date. As part of the Great British Skinny Dip promotion anyone who hasn’t been to this Alton event since March 2011 can get an advanced ticket for £6.50 (children free but must be booked at the same time).

SOC Walks
As you will see I’ve started to add these Naturist walks, to the events diary. Dates until the end of June are shown, but the walks do continue on a regular basis through until October. Later dates will be progressively added to later editions.

Saturday 28th – Mill Bank Sun Club Dinner and Dance, The Royal Victoria Hotel Hastings. Tickets are £25 a head. Reduced rate accommodation is available at the hotel at £65 B&B for two people in a double room.
